Jump to: Map | Need to Know
High school students (aged from 14–18 years) thinking about studying architecture and design have an opportunity to learn more about the profession at a special workshop.
Sunshine Coast Open House, the Australian Institute of Architects (Qld Chapter), USC, Bond University, Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology, The University of Queensland and Torrens University would like to extend an invitation to students in years 10, 11 and 12 considering a career in architecture.
Students will participate in a workshop and discover what it’s like to study architecture. They will also enjoy learning about related disciplines such as sustainability, design, interior architecture, urban design, and town planning.
Students will enjoy:
- Speaking with current students, graduates, academics and practitioners about architecture, design, planning and sustainability pathways.
- Learning through making with a dynamic and fun model making activity.
- Hear from architects who will provide an insight about what the profession is like day-to-day.
Proudly supported by USC and the Australian Institute of Architects (Queensland Chapter).
