4 November 2026

Meet the architects, builders and homeowners behind some of the buildings that opened their doors for Sunshine Coast Open House 2026.

This year marked the tenth anniversary of Sunshine Coast Open House, celebrating sustainable and inclusive design across the region. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success, and to all who joined us across the event and building weekends.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

Sunshine Coast Open House acknowledges the traditional Country of the Kabi Kabi and the Jinibara Peoples of the coastal plains and hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast, and recognises that these have always been places of cultural, spiritual, social and economic significance. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
