Sunshine Coast Open House Photography Competition Terms and Conditions

    • Entry to the Sunshine Coast Open House Photography Competition is free.
    • Photographs must have been taken at a participating Sunshine Coast Open House building or event between Friday 16 October and Sunday 25 October 2026.
    • Sunshine Coast Open House committee members and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
    • Entries must be uploaded via the Sunshine Coast Open House Photography Competition page by 5pm on Friday 30 October 2026. Email entries will not be accepted.
    • Entries must be digital. Scanned slides and scanned images will not be accepted.
    • There are five categories: Exterior, Interior, Landscape/Garden, Timber and People. Entrants may submit one image per category.
    • Images must be in JPG format, in RGB colour mode, and no larger than 2MB each.
    • Each file must be named with your name, the category and the building or event where the image was taken, for example NAME_CATEGORY_BUILDING or NAME_CATEGORY_EVENT.
    • The winner will receive a $1,000 prize.
    • The winner will be selected by the Sunshine Coast Open House judging panel. All decisions are final and not subject to review.
    • The winner will be contacted by email, using the contact details provided in their entry.
    • The winner will be announced in November 2026 and promoted via the Sunshine Coast Open House website, social media and e-newsletter.
    • Copyright of the images remains with the photographer.
    • Sunshine Coast Open House and Queensland Timber Flooring reserve the right to reproduce the images to promote Sunshine Coast Open House only. Images will be credited to the photographer.
    • There will be no payment for the use of images.
    • Sunshine Coast Open House and Queensland Timber Flooring will not sell the images, or give the rights to use them to any other party, without the prior consent of the photographer.
