2025 Program

The next annual Sunshine Coast Open House weekend is on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October 2025, inviting visitors to explore a diverse selection of historic, contemporary, and sustainable buildings spanning from Caloundra to Kin Kin.

Each year, Sunshine Coast Open House provides exclusive access to architecturally significant buildings, complemented by a rich program of walking tours, talks, and special events. A highlight of the program is the annual Open House Community Forum, where this year the conversation revisits the topic of What is Home?

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

Sunshine Coast Open House acknowledges the traditional Country of the Kabi Kabi and the Jinibara Peoples of the coastal plains and hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast, and recognises that these have always been places of cultural, spiritual, social and economic significance. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
