Established in 2014, the beautiful, light-filled Pan Pottery Studio is a space where tradition, craftsmanship, and nature come together. Ceramist Angus McDiarmid creates each piece by hand, using a traditional wood-fired kiln and kick wheel, working with clay he digs from the local landscape himself. Even the serene timber studio that houses his practice was hand-built by Angus from locally milled wood.

A passionate architecture enthusiast — perhaps influenced by his uncle, renowned architect Gabriel Poole — Angus has shaped his studio into more than just a workspace. It’s a celebration of craft, design, and connection to the earth.

For visitors interested in joinery, architecture, or the timeless art of pottery, Pan Pottery Studio offers an experience that is as inspiring as it is beautiful.
