Designed by Noel Robinson Architects and awarded the RAIA Regional Commendation in 1996, this striking church is a celebrated example of regional architecture and a true gift to its community. At its heart is a dramatic main worship space, defined by a vaulted roof cut at a 45-degree angle.

This innovative design creates luminous edges that filter natural light while revealing a sculptural internal ceiling lined with warm hoop pine plywood. Full-length louvres invite cooling cross breezes, ensuring excellent natural ventilation perfectly suited to the subtropical climate. The result is a serene, sustainable, and thoughtfully crafted space that blends beauty, functionality, and a deep connection to place.
