2023 PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Bring your camera or phone along to Sunshine Coast Open House and enter the 2023 Focus on Architecture Photography Competition.

To enter, visit participating Sunshine Coast Open House buildings allowing photography on Saturday 21 October & Sunday 22 October and snap your winning photo. Submit your entries by 12 midnight on 26 October 2023.

Entries are judged by a committee comprising local architects, a representative from Queensland Timber Flooring, UniSC Lecturer in Photography Tricia King, and Architectural Photographer Hossein Farahani.

There are two award categories

OPEN CATEGORY

Open to all amateur and professional photographers. Entries can be submitted in four categories:

  • Exterior
  • Detail
  • Interior
  • People

$1,000 prize courtesy of Queensland Timber Flooring
 

STUDENT CATEGORY

Open to all school students. Entries will be judged on the same criteria as above.

$250 prize courtesy of Queensland Timber Flooring

Entrants in the Sunshine Coast Open House Photography Competition are able to upload one photo per category (up to four photos in total if all four categories are entered).
